ABOUT

This unique outdoor installation was described by the artist as a “living sculpture”. It occupies a 3,556-square meter area and converges the theme of man and the environment. The title is a take off from the Spanish word “casa” meaning house, and Filipino word “kalikasan” meaning nature. It is intended as an ideal natural place for human wellbeing and habitation.

It is comprised of a mandala, an area for mediation and prayer surrounded by an elevated circular stage covered with carabao grass, a sandbox, and pebbled pathways.
